I am SO psyched for that port. Call me a fanboy for buying a remake, but I’m a huge fan of that game. :D

This one is very clever.

Pd: It seems this game is not a remake but just a port with few extra things, however its kick in the nuts to the psp.

Sorry for the double post but i have a petition for the administrator of this awesome website; I was trying to watch the older comics but unfortunately i can only check the first one and the new one, i can watch the others using the calendar on the right but it is just too uncomfortable, i think i am not only one who wants this but i demand a “next comic” and a “back comic” buttons. I hope you can fix that small problem.

It’s a controller for the top loading NES (modeled after the SNES down to the controller shape).

I think the controller he’s depicting would be the NES2 controller. It came out a couple years after the NES did.

The grandfather of the Wii would be the N64, not the SNES…?

i have one.
Also, I absolutely love Lord Wii.. I like that he’s such an asshole. It’s funny!

Also, Chrono Trigger is an awesome game, but I won’t buy the port.
I’m tired of Square Enix thinking they can just pull in all kinds of money off of porting their old games. Remakes, ports, all of it is rubbish!

I’d much prefer to have them come up with more original content. Use the same battle systems that we like, but just come up with a new story damn it.

Hey everyone ! I found out that you can easily browse through the whole archive by going to http://www.castle-vidcons.com/2008/page/41/ . Then click Next to get to the next page. The “first comic” link should redirect to this address (unless it changes everytime a new page is added ? O_o)

btw I had to read the comments to understand that the clock symbolized chrono trigger, even though I read just a few minutes before that there would be a port of it on the DS…

Is the NES pad punished because one mustn’t give presents to the DS queen or because the Wii king would have preferred to get a remake of Chrono Trigger for himself ?

Also got this link from fanboys. This comic has a style that’s quite refreshing and different! Keep it up! It’s now one of my top favorites.

Ok, I love this because of how artfully subtle the Chrono Trigger refrence is. I really love it.

The Wii is upset because that’s his wife, and you don’t give another man’s wife a present like that (with great value).

There’s a distinct difference between giving another man’s wife a present and making something for your queen. But King Wii doesn’t have the grace of a king, nor appreciation for the arts and crafts - of his “finest craftsman” no less. Wherein lies the humor, I guess.

@Weclock

While I can certainly understand the distaste for remakes sometimes it’s very nice for those of us who never managed to play the original to get another chance at it. Although thankfully in this case they’re not redoing it with terrible N64-era “We don’t have the power to do 3d well, but we’re doing it anyway because we can technically do it… who cares if it looks terrible!” graphics as in the Final Fantasy remakes. Just because I have no interest in Final Fantasy… is it IV (the remake of the SNES II… my personal favorite of the series) doesn’t mean that it’s not going to be nice for the people looking forward to it. Much as I’m anticipating Chrono Trigger.
