Does Princess Wiimote have the new motion-sensor attatchment?

Also, I was talking about this JUST LAST NIGHT.

It’s about injecting ROMs into Virtual Console files–with a homebrew-enabled wii, you can install Virtual Console files for a lot of games that aren’t offered, even modified games.

Yeah, if I were King Wii I wouldn’t be too thrilled about the E3 verdict either.

I get the 1to 1 motion thing, but why would Lord Wii destroy the ancestor temple (at least I’m guessing he did)?

Does he not like the 1to1 motion?

The last few panels don’t make sense too me.

From what I gather, Lord Wii was pissed that the ancestor did not deliver on the classics that he asked for (new games with Nintendo characters), and that he instead inserted yet another peripheral on the princess (the motionplus). Lord Wii must have been the one that destroyed the temple, since he tends to kill anyone that gets intimate with the princess.

Plus he’s lit up. You know he did something wicked.

Nintendo is secretly destroying their own gaming heritage and adding new peripherals to attract more casual audiences. That sound about right?

^ that sounds about right. i think the biggest thing is that the ancestor was the NES, so such a blessing would likely be Kid Icarus Wii or maybe the Punch Out that Ngamer said existed.

anyway, i’m almost disappointed that the Xbox Heckler didn’t make a return. next time?

oh crap, i meant to say it to JoeStephen, not to Kurod. and i don’t necessarily think they’re “destroying” their gaming heritage. they’ve always been like this really, it’s only the narrow minded perception of the “hardcore” or the heckling Xbox in this comic. i really do enjoy it though because it does recognize many of the silly misconceptions in the industry and lambastes them with simple representation of fact through a medieval setting, much in the way political cartoons work, perhaps short the medieval angle.

I love to decipher the hidden meaning in these comics, but I’m not even sure I understand the outer layer of this one…

The gamers are hearkening back to the days of the NES (famicom). The Wii sees profit in the new titles, not classics. He put the motion sensor on the Wiimote (cause he likes money) and destroyed the shrine, because he only cares about the new. I think.

Huh, I thought it was just that he asked the gods for their favor, they gave him the Motion+, but in doing so, defiled his daughter. He didn’t like that.
