DS be all playing herself in the bathtub tonight, depriving Wii of that touch screen, and definitely not letting him flip that touch screen down with her sexy side buttons, actually only letting him get that freaky on his B-day.
Shouldn’t Wii be glowing in the “Well congratulations” frame, and not the “cold bedchamber frame”, since he seems to do that primarily when he’s about to do something sinister? Or is there some subtext here I’m not seeing?
I’m not quite sure, but I know Flower was a game for PS3 at E3 this year. Or at least something close to it, I’m not sure why he’s with the Nintendo Royalty.
I think this should be interpreted as the DS being acceptive of very simple games.
Something like that found in Wario Ware touched, where you just blow a spinning wheel.
I think it represents the fact that Flower is a piece of crap excuse for a game and even Nintendo with all their ‘casual’ games wouldn’t touch something like that.
I think it might be stating the Flower is such a non-game that even Nintendo wouldn’t pick it up. I could be wrong, but that’s what I get from it. I think Flower looks pretty awesome, actually.
i would be prudent to notice that the Flower Vidcon is not having money dumped on him, but rather MORE flowers, perhaps signifying that King Wii ALREADY has an exorbitant amount of simple games like flower, or perhaps beautiful, flowery games (i.e. Super Mario Galaxy)
This reference is a little obscure. The way Lord Wii kills the vidcon by showering it with flower petals parallels a legend about a Roman emperor who at some point showered his party guests with so many flower petals that they suffocated to death.
As for the actual video game meaning here, perhaps Lord Wii looks down upon inventive motion-controlled games that aren’t on his platform?
Yes Flower is a PS3 game. A game that has won quite a few awards at E3 this year. Widely considered quite awesome. So with this in my head going into this comic it just confused me.
