Well, it looks like the 360 is killing the old Xbox controller to me… Not sure what the significance is, if any. I mean, the Xbox 1’s been dead for years.

I don’t speak Bosnian, but I’d guess its something in the neighborhood of “civil revolution”.

As far out as the references can be in this comic, I never thought I’d see a WW1 reference. Well executed.

The arms race has gone on so long I am glad to see the war started. Though, I guess the arms race IS the war in this analogy.

My guess is that this is about the 360 prematurely ending the Xbox 1’s lifecycle and triggering the current system war.

He’s saying, directly translated, “The revolution lives” the actual meaning could be “long live the revolution” or it could be “let the revolution begin.”

Oh, and it’s not Bosnian, it’s Serbian. The languages might be near identical but the ethnicity is not and one doesn’t like being mistaken for the other.

Maybe it’s got something to do with the ‘Xbox Originals’ on the marketplace taking attention away from the 360 playing it’s own games.

I think it’s basically saying that Microsoft killed off the original Xbox very swiftly as a very conscious act with the 360, and more or less cut off supporting the system altogether.

Even not knowing Serbian I would have guessed Long Live the Revolution, because that’s what everyone says before assassinating someone, regardless of languages. Normally it’s Viva la Revolucion

I think that the message trying to be conveyed here is that the Xbox originals take up HDD space, which is provided by the Elite, giving another reason to get an Elite and get rid of your old 360 (which I am sure the original 360 doesn’t enjoy). Even more-so if the 360 that shot the XBox controller was an arcade version with no HDD. The take over of the elite was referenced previously in these comics.
