No, I believe they are jumping into their deaths. The WoW players would rather die than play AoC I guess. Makes sense to me, but I might be wrong though.
Basically the Blizzcon website is a piece of garbage that won’t let you buy tickets. Like everything Blizz has made in recent years (including Star Craft: Ghost [which albeit, was never fully made]), it’s bugged.
The Blizzcon forums are going crazy with people saying they’re canceling their accounts (as WoW people usually scream when they’re upset with Blizz). However, even if said people actually DO cancel, they typically always come back. Hence the last frame and them diving after the helmet.
Hilarious, since I also tried getting those tickets.
Basically, people wanted those tickets but because it was sold out, they revolted. (Or cancel their WoW accounts) after awhile they chase after the helmet (reactivate the account).
This really put a smile on my face after experiencing that bugged blizzard store.
their site was rushed down by the thousands of people trying to buy tickets at once, thus them pushing it down the hill, then blizzard brings the site up and a few lucky are able to buy their tickets.
Luckily though they are releaseing an extra few thousand to make up for it
Actually, there’s a Blizzard throughout the entire comic, he,ping to understand the main focus of the comic. With the last two panels the people are just standing around, waiting, and then chasing after the monument, just like Dakaring said.
