Still wondering as to how Nintendo plans on solving the hard-drive issue.

@Lance20000
Perhaps a better way to put it is that his humor is as ‘limited’ as his storage.

The Wii uses flash memory for storage not a hard drive. The Wii hardware contains no HDD in it’s innards.

Considering his imprisonment, I think I know who the cartridge is…

@ aaa

PCs? don’t bring those up here, the PC people might start going. saying the PC is powerful while trying to ignore those with infected hard drives and outdated components. or maybe it’s just me going off, bah

anyway, funny comic. Virtual Boy, not a funny character, may have been an interesting piece back in the day but now we all know how poor he is

@ comment 10:

If you really want to get picky, choose your words carefully. A ‘hard drive’, as mentioned in the comic, refers to any physical digital medium that uses a rigid structure, as opposed to the floppy structure we remember from the diskette era. Therefor, the Wii does in fact have a hard drive, and a small one at that: until you came along, no one mentioned a hard disk drive (which is a more specific term).

Props to Mr Rhodes for another surgically accurate stab at the industry.

SNES Game Boy cart? No. The Virtual Boy was a failed 3d goggle console by Nintendo.

I was thinking more about how they refuse to release Earthbound on Virtual Console.

I would think an external hard drive that connects to the USB might do, although that would mean lagginess.

What really has me PO’d is that they won’t localize Earthbound 2 although it probably would kill in sales.

Seems to refer to this story

http://kotaku.com/5049966/weapons-of-migraine-development-cache-found-in-dubai

and tries to answer how those VBs wound up forgotten somewhere dusty, untouched for so many years.

He even managed to sneak in a joke about Ubisoft’s horrrifying “Imagine: xxx” series.

This comic is made of awesome awesomness.
