But.. but.. backwards compatibility and Linux support!

Yeah, the “new” PS3 is a little late to the party and pretty far behind the pack. Game developers already know by now not to plan on PS3 exclusives (*cough* Final Fantasy) and there are many more 360 and Wii consoles in the wild. Wii has a connotation for childish (but fun) games, 360 for mainstream gamers.

Where does the new “moderately priced” (but still >$100, 50% more than 360 Arcade) PS3 fit in? I suppose only the movie-watchers would know… considering Blu-Ray costs more than twice what DVDs do, they’re still targeting the rich guys. And with HD-movie-rentals to the Xbox, technically you can get HD without a BluRay drive. And game purchases/rentals…. Playstation Home is nowhere near that level of feature development.

Day late, dollar short IMO. “Slim” is just an upstart making noise… his name suits him.

Could “Another Random Guy” wave the Microsoft flag any harder? I can’t hear most of his boilerplate over the sound of relentless flapping. It is almost enough to distract one from the Xbox 360’s 56% failure rate, and the smell of fear. Let’s take a step back from ARG’s emotionally charged claims and look at the facts.

The XBox 360 Arcade is $100 less because it doesn’t have a hard drive, and a console without a hard drive in this digital age might as well be a Wii.

The comparable system is the Xbox 360 elite at $399, and assuming that they also drop that price $100 to match the PS3 price *now*, you still have to buy an XBox Live subsctiption to play with friends, not to mention a recharging kit/batteries for your controllers and a WiFi adapter if you want wireless. All things that come with the PS3 out of the box.

Plus, one you have all that, there’s 56% chance that your system will break down, and a no greater chance that the replacement will fare any better.

Would you play Russian Roulette with three bullets in the cylinder?

So much gaming news has been going on since the last update that it’s a bit saddening that there is no new comic. I mean there’s no comics talking about the PS3’s success or the other vidcons reaction to it. No comic about BBC’s Watchdog smear attack on Sony, or even the most latest news of the possibility of Dreamcast games coming to the PSN thanks to a leaked SEGA document.

I still consider this comic one of the most truest and enjoyable gaming comics on the web, even if it’s only updated once a month or two now. Just hope that there’s another update soon.

It would be nice if he would have put a news section on this site. I mean despite the comic being rarely updated now, he still has some loyal fans that check up on the site. It would be nice to at least know why there are no updates and when we’ll get some.

Man…soooooo many hopes for this comic…and they are all utterly crushed by the shear ignorance of this webcomic. A whole month and no update? Seriously…done checking back on this comic, it made a follower out of me and the it spat on my shoes.

Al creador de este Webbcomic, le deseo que coma pura verga, al principio este fue un comic entretenido, ahora solo es una mierda que perdio la atencion de su creador, hay pasado muchas cosas y el creador del comic solo a comido verga parada aderezada con un poco de mierda.
